01 · Context
Lightning protection reports are still done with a clipboard on the roof, a spreadsheet at the office and a lot of back-and-forth between the technician and the engineer in charge. The goal was to take the inspection from the field to the signed report without losing information along the way.
02 · Solution
We designed and are building a responsive web platform: the technician runs a guided inspection on the phone, with a photo and GPS for each item of the standard; the PROTEC and SEV calculations run on a custom engine; AI drafts the report and the engineer in charge reviews and signs it digitally. Four roles, each with its own permissions.
